Because of its rural location, Kressbronn is very appealing for its visitors. Many of the picturesque communities, situated between orchards and vineyards, surround the rural main town.
Biking- and hiking roads lead to idyllic lakes and rivers, onto smooth hills with exceptional views and on natural paths alongside the lake.
Since the completion of the bypass around Kressbronn, the village is free of through traffic and presents itself once again as a popular meeting place for guests and inhabitants.

 

With the ships of the “White Fleet” you can reach all points of interest around the lake from Kressbronn. Owners of the “Seebären Bodensee-Erlebniskarte” can travel for free on every passenger ship.
The orchards and vineyards shape the landscape around Kressbronn. The farmer’s path in the hills offers information about the fruit and classy plants in the region.
The restored paddle wheel steamer ”Hohentwiel” offers also excursions from Kressbronn.
The renovated town hall in the middle of the village. There are farmer’s markets, but also concerts and open-air cinema’s on the newly designed town hall square from time to time.
